Winter is a pretty blah time of year and Creatives Nest is here to help you through it, creatively. We will design activities for you to create weekly. To get those voices out of your heads and allow for creativity to flow through you.

It all begins with inviting your inner kiddo to join you. The heart, the juice, the flow of creativity only happens when we let ourselves play. What we have planned for you will help you loosen up and get into a mode of play. Creativity is fun, let’s play!

Each week we will connect via zoom and chat through anything that came up for you. It’s here that we will connect as a group, share with each other our (usually common) struggles and our personal wins! At the end of the month we will have a day off in persona adventure and creative play. FUN!

Starts: March 4, 2024 with a zoom call to kick off the month

Week Two: GET INTO YOUR BODY

Ends: Last week of March with an in-person gathering for some creative play and connection
Each week consists of a group zoom call (recorded if you can’t make that week), “assignments and challenges” to get you playing with your creativity, and access to a group chat to check in, ask questions and share if you want to.

I hope so…
Here’s the why. I struggle in the winter, wanting a creative outlet, wanting to push myself, wanting to connect to other people wanting the same things. So I thought, if it were me, I would need someone, something to hold myself accountable.
Why not just get a group of friends together and do this on our own? Well, here’s the thing. I talk about doing this with friends all the time and it doesn’t happen. See us as your friends who will MAKE it happen. Sometimes paying someone to make it happen, holds us accountable, otherwise it’s a waste of money. We take the organizing out of your hands, we take the need for you to think up what to do, and make it our problem to solve. We create the space you need to actually do the thing. So you actually do it.
We want as many people to join as possible while also keeping it a safe, more intimate space, because let’s face it, who feels comfortable sharing in a space of 50 people? not me. So we are capping it at 15 people.
If you can’t make a zoom call, they will be recorded so you can still participate on some level, and we will have a group chat open for you to share anything coming up, at any time.
If you can’t make the in person creative play date, that really sucks. We’ll try our best to choose a date that accommodates the most people possible. This date won’t be chosen by us, it will be chosen by the group on the first zoom call.
The zoom calls will be an hour and they will be fun. Bring a glass of wine, or tea. They will also be scheduled at a time when as many people as possible can attend, so if you work a 9-5, you will be accommodated.
